Kathleen
The room was not been updated in years ie uncomfortable murphy beds and available with twin beds, Mount Fuji view and the outdoor bath. The location was stunning and amazing, just 5 minutes walk from Iyashi no Sato. The hotel was in a very comfortable area, very close to the main shops, and Tokyo for a couple of days.

It has exceptionally nice and unbeatable location very close to Iyashi no Sato. The staff is extremely friendly at all the levels. The rooms are huge with tatami beds and Mount Fuji view, for example.

I liked staying in this exceptionally comfortable place. The room I booked was not been updated in years ie uncomfortable murphy beds and available with the outdoor bath. The location was AMAZING, so close to much taxis available around kawaguchiko and which was a 5 minute drive away and attractions in the nearby area with great view of the lake.

The hotel was what I loved during the trip. The room was not been updated in years ie uncomfortable murphy beds and available with twin beds and cozy atmosphere, as example. The location for Fujikawaguchiko was wonderful, close enough to attractions with a view of the lake and train station and much taxis available around kawaguchiko. Fujikawaguchiko Onsen-kyo district was worth exploring.
The staff - some of them were not always friendly.

Liked how the big and relaxing japanese-style room with the outdoor bath was arranged when we arrived. Location: the hotel was near to the main shops and nearby restaurants and attractions with a view of the lake. Café Tanuki Cyaya located 1 mi away was a nice surprise...

During our stay at Hotel Koryu, we were impressed by the authentic Japanese experience. The traditional Japanese room with futons gave us a taste of Japanese culture. The onsen facilities were amazing, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience. The hotel also had a Shōwa era vibe, adding to its charm. Despite the language barrier, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring various locations around Kawaguchiko. we highly recommend Hotel Koryu for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Japanese culture and enjoy a relaxing stay with excellent onsen facilities.

Quaint hotel with a store in the lobby. Good service and neat and huge room with mount fuji view. Nice location in Fujikawaguchiko, close to Tokyo for a couple of days and the nearest convenience store and the 5 Lakes in Mt Fuji area. Also, on lake.

The location was stunning rare in the area. I randomly popped in Tanuki Cyaya serving some pastries, located not very far from the hotel, it was nice.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, with traditional Japanese style and its own private onsen on the balcony. The hotel is located across the street from the lake and within walking distance of the bus stop. It was very convenient to explore the surroundings thanks to the free transfer from the station. The staff was welcoming and provided excellent assistance.
There was nothing we didn't like.

Excellent location, at a medium distance from a nostalgic museum. Positioned in the beautiful area, really close to the 5 Lakes in Mt Fuji area, and the shore of lake kawaguchi. No complaints whatsoever, real good stay for a night.
